1. VPL Blanket Wrap Cardigan - I love wrap sweaters and this one looks so cozy. It's the perfect layering piece for Spring. 

2. Saint Laurent Cabas Chyc Large Leather Shopper - Even though the brand has changed its name, the Y in the original YSL is still so iconic to me. I pretty much NEED this bag. 

3. J. Crew Classic Link Necklace - I've got statement necklaces but I've been looking for a more classic/preppy piece like this classic link one.

4. Tory Burch Adonis Wedge Espadrilles - Love these for the spring! In New York you walk so much, wedges are the only thing I can survive in.

5. C. Wonder Golden Chevron & Stripe DOF Glasses - I love gold accents in the home, and these glasses are so much fun.

6. Givenchy Le Rouge in Manderin Bolero & Magnolia Organza - I've never really been one to wear bright lipstick but lately I've been experimenting with bolder colors, and I really like these two colors from Givenchy! Can't wait to try them out.

For Easter I'm headed over to a friend's house for what I know will be an absolutely delicious meal. I've spent the morning slaving away in the kitchen baking away, and I'm now sitting here covered in flour, chocolate, and icing. Oh, the joys of baking!

Closet Essentials: The Chambray Shirt

The chambray shirt is an incredibly versatile piece, and my go-to for days when I don't know what to wear. For the perfect laid-back spring look pair it with a pair of white pants/jeans, or even a pair of printed jeans like this one from MICHAEL Michael Kors. Another option is to pair it with a bright colored blazer like this orange one from DVF. Recently, the denim-on-denim trend has been making quite the come-back and I'm a big fan! Try and avoid the monotone look though and go with different shades (my preference is keeping the darker denim for the bottoms). And don't forget to pack this shirt for your next beach vacation with your bikini - it's the perfect beach or pool-side cover-up!

Sunday Lust List

So every Sunday I will be posting up things that are on my wish list. Wish lists are interesting because they're really telling of someone's personality and style, so I figured this would be my first post to introduce myself! I just returned from my wedding and mini-moon in Thailand (photos to come soon!) and I've already been looking at ways to update my wardrobe and home as a "married" woman.

1. BCBGMAXAZRIA Lucy A-Line Skirt - Can't wait for slightly warmer weather when I can pair this with a bright colored short-sleeve knit and a pair of black pumps.
2. ADIA KIBUR Multi Layer Pastel Necklace - I love this statement necklace, and the pastel is a nice touch for spring.
3. REBECCA TAYLOR Striped Pullover - I have a thing for stripes.
4. ABC CARPET & HOME Pillows (Pillow with Layered Seams, Dwellstudio Pillow, Rothko Pillow) - Now that I'm a "wife" (eep!), I've been especially concerned with making our apartment more "homey." Pillows are a great way of adding some color and accent into the home and I love these from ABC Carpet & Home. Seriously, I could spend hours in this store.
5. BOBBI BROWN Kohl Eye-Liner - I'm not a big make-up person in general but my go-to night-out make-up is Bobbi Brown's long-wear gel eyeliner. This product is in one word, amazing, but sometimes I want a more subtle look for the day. My makeup artist who was helping me prep for all our wedding events introduced me to this technique of using a kohl eyeliner but applying it with a eye definer brush instead of using the pencil directly onto the lid. It gives a softer and more subtle look that I'm a big fan of.
6. ZARA Basic Sandal - In line with the black and white trend.
