I am seriously crushing on the Jennifer Meyer for J.Crew jewelry collection. Every year, J. Crew collaborates with winners and runners up of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award for a capsule collection. In 2012, Greg Chait of The Elder Statesman took the winning prize with Tabitha Simmons and Jennifer Meyer claiming the runners-up spots.

I'm already a huge fan of Jennifer Meyer's elegant and timeless gold pieces (I've had my eyes on the wishbone earrings and the black diamond stick necklace for a while now!), so you can imagine my excitement for this collaboration. I'm especially obsessed with the Edith Jeweled Cuff and can easily envision myself layering up both colors with a white dress this season.

Travel Essentials

So for Memorial Day weekend I'm off to the windy city with the hubby. I've never been to Chicago so I'm super excited. Deep dish pizza here I come! In even more exciting news, we've finally booked our tickets for our honeymoon in France! I would LOVE to have this blown up and hung in my living room. Or even better, how about if this was printed on a skirt (very Clover Canyon)! I'm loving the all-white spring trend this year. Again, for the shirt unbutton those top buttons, and roll up the sleeves. As an alternative to the Splendid white shirt, check out Brooks Brothers' MEN's shirts - trust me on this. Or just raid the boyfriend's/husband's closet. I do it all the time...

On another note, I'm equally loving this sweater from Theory to pair with the white skort. And you can switch out the Isabel Marants for a pair of strappy heels, or why not push the envelope and try a pair of metallic oxfords.

I'm obsessed with Antik Batik. Their designs are heavily Indian influenced (I swear, my sister bought a clutch from the streets of Delhi that looked exactly the same as my Antik Batik bag!), and I'm drawn to the intricacy of the patterns, the mix of colors and silver embellishments. To be honest, I'm obsessed with anything India...I am half-Indian after all... With a bag like this you want it to be the center of attention so keep the rest of the outfit simple and minimal. Do a half-tuck with the shirt and roll up the sleeves. Pair it with a pair of distressed denim to make an otherwise classic and put-together look more edgy. Finally, throw in some metallic accessories and voilà, you're ready for a night out on the town.

Spring is in the air, and wedding season is starting up! I have five weddings this year (not even including my own!) and the planner in me always tries to think of outfits way ahead of time. I'm in love with the color and flow of this maxi skirt. In general I'm drawn to the feminine look mixed with a slightly tough edge, and this necklace throws in the perfect twist. For a more edgy night look you can switch out the white blazer for a black leather jacket (my ultimate closet essential and favorite) like this one.
